Bill Graham has practiced law in Des Moines for over 35 years representing businesses, farming operations and individuals involved in a wide range of disputes and transactions throughout Iowa. His law practice is quite broad. In helping his clients solve problems and achieve desired results, Bill provides years of experience and expertise in multiple legal disciplines.
Bill maintains an extensive trial practice arguing cases before judges and juries across the state of Iowa in both state and federal courts. Throughout his career, it has been his privilege to vigorously and successfully advocate for clients involved in a wide spectrum of cases, from complex business and commercial disputes to personal injury and professional liability claims, as well as employment, construction, product liability, family law and estate and trust litigation. Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers and he has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Bill also counsels many clients on legal issues involving corporate, business and personal matters outside the trial arena. He enjoys valued and long-standing relationships with business clients, particularly closely held and family businesses who rely on his guidance, advice and representation in corporate, transactional, personal and family matters. Bill’s corporate and business practice has also encompassed numerous corporate mergers, sales and acquisitions. Clients preparing to sell their businesses have engaged Bill as their attorney in transactions totaling well over $150 million.
